HOLE 12 Par 5 • Blue Tee Yardage 524
The 524 yard par 5, 12th is the longest hole on the golf course by nearly 100 yards. This double dog-leg par 5 is uniquely designed in that it is very difficult for any player to hit this small green in two. From the tee box players are required to hit their ball down the right side of the hole avoiding the 40 plus foot trees that guard either side of the fairway. After this is accomplished, players then have a choice of either hitting a mid to long iron down to the 150 yard marker leaving themselves a comfortable distance, or hitting a fairway wood to get themselves as far down the hole as possible. Whichever decision is made, the player must keep the ball left to avoid the grove of trees and towering willows that protect the right side of the hole.
