HOLE 16 Par 3 • Blue Tee Yardage 200
The 200 yard par 3- 16th is excellent follow up from the 15th hole. After players walk off the green from the easiest hole, they immediately come to this daunting par three over the Kishwaukee River. This hole traditionally plays into a cross-wind, making club selection difficult. The green is protected in front not only by the river, but by a difficult bunker as well. Anything short is either wet or in the sand, and anything long is out of bounds. The appropriate miss on this hole is pin high and left. This way the player is left with a bump and run shot from the rough to the hole.
