Measuring at 384 yards, the par 4 17th can play as long or as short as the player wants. With a tee shot over the Kishwaukee River required, the longer hitters can take a more direct approach to the hole, however bringing more of the river into play. If this is done successfully, the player will have sand wedge to a severely undulated green where shot placement is key. Shorter hitters will need to take a more traditional approach to the hole hitting their tee ball straight away, while avoiding the left side fairway bunkers located at 125 yards from the hole. This should leave the player with eight or nine iron to the hole.
