HOLE 3 Par 4 • Blue Tee Yardage 430
The third hole is rated the most difficult hole on the course. This 435 yard dog leg right par 4 is more than worth the notation. With the position of the tee box, this is another challenging hole for the aggressive player. The smart play is driver or 3 wood down the left center of the fairway leaving around 200 yards uphill to a challenging green. Aggressive players and long hitters can try to fly the dogleg by carrying the ball over the dozen or so 40 foot oak trees that guard the right side of the hole. Fail and you will be left with two options: Punching out to the fairway, or re-teeing because your ball went out of bounds.
